Too old for EF College Break?

I'm considering taking an EF College Break tour in Italy. I'm 25 yrs old and starting grad school in the fall. The age range for EF is 18-26, so I know I can join it, but I'm concerned I might be too "old" for the kind of tours they offer and feel out of place. I'm totally fine around college upperclassmen, I guess I'm concerned about whether the tour itself treats participants like they are in high school since I know EF offers those tours as well.

I'm also considering Contiki, which seems to have a pretty intense party/drinking attitude. I'd certainly enjoy and want that to a degree, but maybe not as much as what I typically hear on Contiki. Is there some kind of party atmosphere on the EF College Break tours as well? If so, I'd prefer to go on one of their tours as apparently they are a bit nicer. I just don't want to feel like I'm around a bunch of kids.

Hey!

Sorry it took so long to respond. EFCB tours definitely have people on tour that will be your age. I personally took a tour with EFCB last year and there were at least 10-15 people over the age of 23. Also, EFCB gives travelers free time whenever they want to break from the group. There is definitely a night-life aspect. Tour directors tell the group good bars and clubs to go to in each city.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

anom217,

I am looking into the EF College Break for next summer. I am 24 and worried about younger people being on the trip. Did you end up going? Your thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!
