Too late for St Remy early July?? Nearby places?

We (self, hubby and 13 and 14 year old kids) made a change to our itinerary and now are going to be in Provence in early July for 4-5 days. After lots of reading, I was hoping to stay in St Remy but accommodation seems very booked out , other than places way beyond our budget :-( Can anyone suggest somewhere nearby (we have a car) , that would be a good base for daytripping?

Thanks!

Keep looking, We always found a place in July but let us know your limit to spend.

We would like to spend less than 200 Euro a night. A few years ago, we stayed in Tuscany in a villa just outside town and that is the kind of thing we would love but we are pretty flexible. The Hotel Soleil was booked out. I will check Arles too -thanks

Arles is a big city - pain in the neck to get in and out of with a car. I'm sure you can find a place in St-Rémy still, but check out Uzès as well, or Maussane-les-Alpilles.

Here are a few suggestions around this area. We just booked a room for 4 nights at the end of June and all of these places had openings.
We chose this one:

A strong second contender: it was a tough choice
