Tom Swifties
 

Anyone here remember the Tom Swift series of books for kids. One of the best parts were the "Swiftisms."

I thought it might be fun to start a thread creating Swifties that include some relation to travel and a fodorite.

I'll start off with a few.

In Alsace, we visited Haut Kronenbourg", Ira said haughtily.

"I don't think that you will need AC for the Amalfi Coast in Oct", Ira said breezily.

Here is another town called "Aus Fart" said Basingstoke exitedly.

I asked for Vin Rouge and you brought Vin Blanc whined Basingstoke to the waiter.

"I must see The Scream before the museum closes!", cried grandmere anxiously.
