Toll roads in Europe

Is there one toll card I buy while in Europe,
that can be used at all the tolls booths we may encounter. Amsterdan to Paris,
The Black Forrest, Bolzano Italy, Salzburg,
Munich. It would save time and maybe a little money.

There is no such thing as ONE EU-wide toll card. In Germany there is no toll (so far...). In Austria you need to have a vignette (toll label) attached to the windshield of the car. There is a 10 days vignette for € 7,60 you can buy on the border to Austria. In Italy you will find toll booths.

Making a uniformed toll system for Europe is one of the projects of the European Union. However, it's gonna take quite some time before it gets installed. Especially, because now with new technologies plans have come up to regulate everything via satellite tracking.

Anyway, until then, the answer is NO. Some countries have toll ways (France, Spain, Italy,...), others vignettes (Switzerland, Austria,...) and some others (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany,...) are free until now.

VISA or MasterCard.

Maybe others as well.

Best wishes,
