I saw in one of your posts that there will be a canonization in Rome - mid Oct.
Can you tell me who will be canonized and where I can find out more info.

I search, the usual, places and can't find out anything.

Thanks for the info.

ttb Aug 11th, 2002 10:24 AM

this info is quite easy to find using any search engine

xxx Aug 11th, 2002 10:28 AM

ttb, why didn't you simply post the info if you found it?

Tara Aug 11th, 2002 10:39 AM

I tried to find it for Cheryl
(since you said it was so easy) and I couldn't find it for her.

ttb Aug 11th, 2002 10:41 AM

Okay, go to www.google.com and into the search field type "canonization october 2002" and click search. Now was that so hard? If you searched the "usual places" and couldn't find this then you need to find better "usual places".

God, I hate spoon-feeding.

Dear ttb,

Thanks for your help --- I'm sorry that I was such a bother !

Cheryl

cova Aug 11th, 2002 11:12 AM

Hi Cheryl,
it will be on the 6th of October, the canonization of Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer, the Opus Dei founder. It will surely attract loads of people. Maybe not so much as the Father Pio one back in June, but hundreds of thousands for sure. A bit of a nightmare ...
Rgds, Cova

Cheryl Aug 11th, 2002 11:24 AM
Cova,
Thanks for the information---will will miss it - we'll be in Rome the week of the 14th.

Cheryl, you were very gracious to our snarling posters who, themselves, will not be nominated for canonization this year. Have a lovely trip and may you have a couple of lovely surprises.

ttb,

You're an obnoxious, nasty little nobody who represents the worst of those who post here.

Big Al

Hi Cheryl,
Just had a moment to get onto my PC for the first time today. (Have to get that yardwork/gardening done before the weekend ends & a rainstorm hits us tomorrow night!)

In any event, Cova, who posted earlier on this thread, gave you the accurate info. And I'm sorry you got hassled about asking this question, which I think is a legitimate & worthwhile question.

Buon Viaggio,
BC

I apologize on behalf of us who care to give info and, for the rudeness of others. Have a wonderful time, and that nice bookchick too if she is going.
