Tivoli Gardens - Christmas Markets

Hello, I will be in Copenhagen late November when Tivoli Gardens is open for the Christmas markets. Has anyone visited the markets during this season? From the little I've read, it's comparably different than when Tivoli is open in the Spring and Summer.

I'm just wondering what to expect.

Thanks.

I haven't been there personally but know several people who have and they all recommend it highly.

Christmas decorations and stalls fill the garden.

The rides and carnival games are generally closed. The restaurants are open. There are Christmas decorations and stalls with vendors of food, drink, and gifts.

Tivoli at Christmas time is magical! With all the decorations, lights strung up in the trees, and roving marching bands playing christmas carols, it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend. There are little stalls set up everywhere where you can buy christmas ornaments and other gifts, and food vendors selling things such as hot wine and crepes are still open.

You are correct, Tivoli in the spring/summer is completely different - I've been both in the summer and at Christmas and I preferred Christmas-time. Enjoy!

Fantastic! I figured it would be so much more different, but I still wanted a Tivoli experience. I just know I'll love the Christmas markets, and the wine and crepes!
