Tips needed for visiting Monasterio Jeronimos in Lisbon, Portugal
 

I will be returning to Lisbon in early April and would like to visit the Monasterio Jeronimos in Belem. I cannot find a way to buy tickets online in order to shorten the waiting time to enter the Monastery. Any suggestions? Thank you!

You need to go to https://bilheteira.museusemonumentos.pt/pos/event/list
then click on the monastery photo and it will say "mortar datas disponíveis" in orange, then select a day and time in 30-minute increments. From the calendar to the left, select your date. Then select your slot, and you'll see how many tickets are available. The first ticket is for entrance from 9:30-9:59, which is what we have purchased. And with tickets in hand, we have arrived 15 minutes ahead of time to be at the front of the line when the Monastery opens.

Thank you so much Maribel. I was able to follow your steps and got to the calendar on the left after clicking the orange box. However, for booking I can't get the calendar to go further than the end of February. I am looking for a tickets on 5 April, 2024. Any ideas? Maggie

I guess just be patient....It just may be too early to book. They may only load tickets one month in advance.

I just did a dummy booking for February 29, which is as far as the calendar allowed me to book. I could book the 9:30 ticket.
