Tips for must see in and outside Barcelona
 

I will be travelling by car in mid-October for 10 days and am searching for "must see" spots around Barcelona, Girona, etc. Oriented towards photography.

You can head to the Costa Brava for a spectacular coast line, or head up into the Pyrenees for the fall colors.

It also depends on what you like to photograph. My son really liked taking pictures of the Gaudi sites in Barcelona.

For a photographer, I would recommend

- Montserrat,
- Tossa de Mar,
- Cadaques and Port Lligat,
- Cap Creus,
- Figueres.

Especially the last three destinations give you chance to photograph excactly the same scenery which Dali has painted so masterfully.

Thank you all for great recommendations.
We are driving outside of Barcelona, so Costa Brava and a few of the Ports should be fantastic as well as Cadaques and Figueres.

One building in Barcelona (aside from the Gaudi buildings) that I thought was especially memorable was the Palau de Musica. Stunning architecture!
