I can't believe it. There're actually still rooms available! And cheaply....

But I don't think that we can cancel our other reservation.

I'll call that agency tomorrow. I guess if I can book this for 60 euros a night, maybe it's still worth it to cancel the other one, which has already charged us for one night.

I've been at the Theresienwiese underground station 30 mim ago. Not very busy! I got a seat in the train. It'll start raining soon, maybe that's one reason. The night was rather calm too!!

btw. the Park Hotel Laim is quite o.k., just a few meters from the underground. Shopping is o.k. too. (I'm living just a few 100m from there.)

I hear it doesn't pick up until the weekends usually, right?

Anyway, I guess it's my friend's credit card that has been charged 185 euros. If I find something cheaper I should ditch him. (Just kidding.)

Weekends are usually awful, but still for Monday evening it's far less than usual. Let's hope it stays that way.

I called a-munich about 5 times today. Every time a machine picked up after one ring. A bit annoying. I'm hesitant to book on the web since it's getting close to my departure and I need to get my friend to cancel our existing reservation (at a cost) if we can actually book something much cheaper.

Maybe that travel agent is enjoying himself at Oktoberfest. :-)
