Vacation is the joyful period of our life. We plan vacations to spend happy and blissful moments of our life. Another purpose of vacation tour is to take some rest from our busy schedule of daily work. So what should do before starting a tour?

The planned vacation tour is always best. Here I want to put some important points which we should consider for a successful journey.

First is the budget. Budget is the main factor in any decision. It also decides whether or not you would be going to the trip. So finalize your budget as affordable as you.

Once you finalize your budget then you have to think about the destination. You can select the destination by your need. If you are going with family (whole family) then select a location by that aspect. If you are a couple (married/unmarried) then you can select a romantic location to spend your vacations. If you are going with friends, office colleagues or any other personality which belongs to you then you can choose the location of the group’s choice.

Next step is to find best accommodation, food and transportation services.

A good accommodation is very important in the journey because if you won’t get a comfortable accommodation and rest during a trip then you cannot enjoy the tour with constant enthusiasm. So find the comfortable and affordable accommodation is very important. The bed and breakfast accommodation is always a good choice for living. You get luxurious, comfortable services with good quality of food only at B&B.

Transportation is also one of the most important factors of the trip. So do a search about transport services at a particular destination. Make sure that transport services are available there and note the frequency also. Book your accommodation in that area where you can easily get a transport service.

Another important aspect is the Date of journey and duration of your trip. It will helpful for planning and booking of all facilities.

So these are some important aspects regarding to vacation trip. So first do a research by considering above points. Then make a plan.

I am trying to organise a winter sun trip for myself and a friend, dates where first(+or- a few days),lenth of holiday second and budget next.
we know we want to go to one of the Canary Isles as there are few winter sun flights from our local airport ,so now we are working on the where.

What is with these weird step by step instructive posts all of a sudden? First the B&B one, now this...?

They are odd but not basically wrong as a style, so going with the argument

1)I never think about budget, I live within my means and do simple things so seldom have to
2) I start with the country/region and the weather. I ski when it snows, swim when its sunny and ride bicycles in between
3) I work out if everyone else is on holiday at the same time, I hate crowded holidays
4) then I work out time and can Mrs Bilbo take the time off or will I have to go with others
5) then flights/trains and transport
6) then book the bits I need to plus language training fro while I'm there (really into this learn the language stuff now)

I think AndyMoody and adamic are a tag team.

They use the same syntax - perhaps they are in the same ESL class and this is an assignment >)

I was also thinking about a possible assignment. But the criticisms one will get here will probably be harsher than those a teacher would give.

As always folks have their own planning style, but for the novice a list can be a helpful way to organize. BUT there's a point of diminishing returns.
