Tipping Private Tour Guide in England

We will be in England from March 25 and have arranged for a number of private walking tours in Rye, Gloucester, etc. The cost is very reasonable, around £10 each. Should we offer a tip on top of that? We have travelled in England many times before (we are from Canada) and have learned that tipping is not the norm, but is this an instance when it would be appropriate? Thanks for your advice.
