Tipping in Poland
What is the standard tip at a restaurant in Poland...US is 15-205%...is it the same in Poland??
Also , when we have gone on escorted tours in the Caribbean, it is customary to tip the bus driver and the tour guide. We are doing an Orbis Tour through Southern Poland - is a tip appropriate at the end of the stay? And if so, what would people suggest?

There is no standard! Poles generally do not tip. If you are dining with a Polish friend and try to leave more than a ten percent tip you will be cautioned that it is excessive. Poles seem to leave the odd change that is returned after paying the bill. Poles fight for jobs in restaurants that cater to travelers! Do not leave tip money on the table...give it directly to your wait-person.

same as in US - 10-20% depending on service ... and Poles do tip ...
As for Bus driver / tour guide I think $1 is too little - what usually happens is that people get together and do a collection which then is given to drivers and guide ...
