Tipping for Limmo Driver?

My company has arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport and take us to our Paris hotel. Should I tip the driver, and how much if so?

Hi C,

For particularly good service, ie, doesn't scare you to death on the roads, handles your baggage, etc - about 5E.

Europeans don;t expect the level of tips we give out in the US.

Enjoy your visit.

€5 would be about right.

The driver will not be expecting a tip necessarily so, nothing is just as appropriate as is 5€.

I don't tip private drivers.

I wouldn't tip. The guy is doing his job. He gets paid for doing it, just as you get paid for doing yours.
It is a purely business arrangement, between your employer and his.
