Tip on tickets for La Scala

I just bought 2 seats and discovered something interesting: if you buy seats separate (instead of together) there are no surcharges and the price is cut down by almost 1/2

Are you sure both tickets are on the same level of prices ? Even if they are in the same zone..the price can be different between seats.

I know both tickets are the same level of prices although oe is farther away in the orchestra than another---I bought each of them in separate transactions at a certain level.

Strange thing, really..maybe you have been lucky because it looks like a glitch in the system (which is known for being not very reliable)

Each time I tried to buy 2 tickets together, I got a surcharge of at least 100-120 euro. When I bought single tickets separately I got the face value for each one with no added tax. If it is a glich in the system, I'll take it!!! It cut my price nearly in 1/2.
