Tiny town between Granada and Seville?

Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a nice small town between Granada and Seville that would be a nice place to spend one night on our way back to Seville. I think we're just looking for a beautiful place to relax and walk around a bit. Are there any white towns on that route? Or a particular hotel/resort that would be a good choice? Thanks so much!

Antequera might suit you. It's a beautiful whitewashed town with a Moorish fortress, about 35 miles north of Malaga.

hello

try this hotel in estepa it is just past anteuquera on the autoroute. I have eaten there a few times and it is very nice. The views from the outside terrace are for miles over the olive groves.

The Hotel "Manantial de Roya" (Roya Spring),

you can google the website. To get to it through estepa a a bit confusing it is probably better to go past then come back from the north. If you look at a map on one of the web sites you will see what i mean

dinopa,
Another possibility could be the beautiful town of Osuna. It's been declared a National Artistic-Historic Monument and San Pedro street declared by Unesco to be one of the prettiest streets in Europe.

Although it's not halfway between Granada and Seville as is Antequera, it's filled with lovely Baroque architecture, pretty mansions and the Colegiata de Santa María de la Asunción, that houses the Duques of Osuna pantheon and the Dukes' important art collection.

Osuna has a really atmospheric hotel, Palacio Marqués de la Gomera, an 18th century Baroque palace with a really magnificent facade, and inside a little Baroque chapel dripping with gold, a classic Moorish patio with fountain and just 20 individually decorated rooms with high ceilings in the galleries above. It's similar to staying in an historic Parador, although more intimate.

Osuna is only 92 km. from Seville, which would be a shorter drive, getting you back into the city earlier. It's 169 km. from Granada and 25 km. west of Estepa.
