TimHotel, Nation...Good, bad, or ugly?

Hello,
I'll be staying at the Tim Hotel Nation in Paris. Can anyone tell me how it is there?
Cleanliness? Staff? etc.

I haven't stayed in that particular Timhotel, but I like the neighborhood and I think you will, too. The one where I stayed in the Montmartre area was basic, but clean and well-maintained.

I've never stayed in a TimHotel (it's a basic chain hotel), but I did peek into one near Montparnasse once, and it looked fine. If it's near Place de la Nation, that's an interesting neighborhood. The Picpus cemetary near there is where Lafayette is buried, and every July 4 there is a big American-France friendship ceremony there, with a wonderful French band and lots of tributes, usually including one by the American Ambassador to France.

StCirq,

That cemetary is in my neighborhood and I had no idea they did that! Thanks for the info. Can anyone attend? I would love to go this 4th. Is it a dressy affair?
