Times Newspaper Recommends these Spanish Beaches

The Times yesterday (6th April) ran a feature on Best Secret Spanish Beaches and Ithought I would share the secret with you.
In Asturias (North Spain) : Playa de Guipiyuri, Llanes; Playa del Silencio, Cudiflero; Cuevas del Mar, Nueva; Playa de Luana, Cobreces.
In Galicia: Doninos, San Roman de Doninos; Ilas Cies.
In Cadiz: Playa de Lebante.
In Andalusia: Playa El Palmar, Vejer de la Frontera; Arroya del Canuelo, Tarifa; Playa de Punta Chullera, Sabinillas; Playa de las Alberquillas, Nerja; El Monsul, Almeria.
In Catalonia: Playa de Fenals, Lloret de Mar; Aiguablava, Begur.
In the Balaerics: Cala d’Hort, Ibiza; S’Amarador and Mondrago, Majorca; Cala Algaiarens, Menorca.
Can anyone vouch for them or suggest others? I have done only a couple – Almeria and Lloret de Mar. I had been tipped off previously by a Fodor contributor about Mondrago and is on my list alongside others to visit.

Why do they say they are the best kept secret?
Here in Galicia the beach of Las Islas Cíes (Ilas Cies in your post) was voted the best beach in the world back in 2007. I do not think it is a secret any more

The Playa de Doninos (San Roman de Doninos) is large and can be busy, it also has a surf school based there.
This website says occupation in the summer is high.

Trip Advisor recently published what it thought were the best beaches in Europe.
The second best beach was Playa de las Catedrales (the best in Spain)
However it is not really a sun worshippers beach. The rock formations, which make it popular, can only be seen at low tide.
TA never gave a real good reason how they complied this list either.
