Time Changes Information Needed

This may seem a dumb question but could someone please tell me if when flying from London to Cairo you cross the date line and if so do you lose a day?? Also when travelling from Cairo to Singapore? I am totally confused!

You don't cross the date line. I think time difference is 2 hours.
P.S. to my former posting: I meant to say: time difference between London and Cairo.

The date line is over the Pacific Ocean, so you cross it when you travel from the Americas to/from Asia and Australia.
Time difference between London and Cairo is 2 hours (2 hours later in Cairo), and between Cairo and Singapore 5 hours (5 hours later in Singapore)
