Time Change in France

Does anyone know when the time changes in France? I'm leaving for Paris next week and while our time changes on the 4th, in the US, I don't know about Europe. Thanks in advance for your help.

In Europe, at 3am on October 28th, clocks will be set back to 2am.

Thank you kerouac, I'll make note of the date.

That would be France, not Europe. It's not just one time zone.

It changes in the UK on the same day, but not to the same time. Greece and most of Eastern Europe is different again.

Okay, how about 1 am GMT?

The crucial point is that all EU countries change at the same time, even if our time zones are different.

Is this the reason the French never seem to call strikes when there is a changeover and they might lose an hour of "effect?"

kerouac Oct 22nd, 2007 01:26 AM

You don't think there will be a strike next week? I do.

PatrickLondon Oct 22nd, 2007 05:01 AM

There's not likely to be much "effect" from any sort of a strike in the early hours of a Sunday morning.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 03:27 PM.
