Anyone have the number I need to call to check on tickets for Phantom in London?

Click on the theatre link and they have a complete listing of major shows in London, as well as dates, available seats and prices. When you find what you want, you can purchase right on-line!

If you dont want to pay full price for your theatre tickets, go to the many reduced price outlets in Leicester Square London. You may have to que for a while but you will get a bargain, especially if you go to a matinae preformance. Enjoy your trip.

This method avoids the booking fees that ticket services add for on-line or phone bookings. Londontown.com has a great service, but they do add a fee (although it is fairly modest). <BR> <BR>If you wait until you arrive in London, you can use the half-priced ticket kiosk in Leicester Square but I advice that you use the OFFICIAL Society of London Ticket Booth, not some of the imitators that surround it in Leicester Square. Try TicketmasterUK - we always use them, they have good seats for most events/shows and the service charge is minimal. We pay the same prices for shows in our home town so I don't see any problem with the service charge issue, it's not a big deal after all there is a convenience factor involved. I like having tickets in hand when I leave home and not waste valuable vacation time scouting out the cheapest way to get seats once in London.

Geri: I don't advise waiting to use the half-price booth at Leicester Square for major shows. In 7-8 trips and tries, I've never had them offer tickets for Phantom, Les Mis, Starlight Express, Lion King, The Graduate, etc. However, if you aren't able to secure tickets for the night you wish to go, try showing up at the door at 6:00 pm. That's when the "will calls" who have decided not to go must release their tickets. I've always gotten great seats this way (but pay full price). Perhaps you'll hear here from those who've had better luck at the ticket booth, but I always go in March and September/October so that should have made things easier, but it didn't. By the way, my recommendation would be for Les Miserables at the Palace--for me, a trip to London isn't complete without seeing this!

I just got back from London on the 18th. I went to the official booth and frankly think its useless if you want to go to the bigger shows. The guy at the window said they never get Lion King or Mamma Mia. Went to another place offering half price tickets around the square and got 2 tickets for Lion King for 50 pounds and 2 tickets for Mamma Mia for 46 pounds. You had to purchase the tickets the day of the performance.

We were in London in Oct. obtained tickets to Starlight Express from the 1/2 price ticket booth. In London again in March, tried the 1/2 price booth and no luck for what we wanted. Went to the Individual theatre and they said that they didn't have any tickets (their were two of us) as an afterthought I asked if they had any singles. Bingo, we each had a isle seat 4 rows apart. We had to pay full price but saw both Les Miz and Mamma Mia this way. The wife loved Mamma Mia I choose Les Miz. The staging and songs were great.
