Tickets for the Old Moscow "Nikulin" Circus.
 

I have tried to search these forums to find the answer to my question: "How do I buy tickets in advance for the Old Moscow "Nikulin" circus?" but I haven't been successful.

We are in Moscow in the first week of August so we do not want to wait till the last minute. I filled out the form on the circus' Web site (http://www.circusnikulin.ru/lang/eng...ets/index.html) but I haven't heard back from them.

The only other option seems to go with Opera and Ballet (http://www.operaandballet.com) but they charge an arm and a leg. Is this my only option? Or are there local legitimate Russian sites that sell online tickets... ...I have a Russian friend who can help translate the page for me.

There are probably the "folklorico" performances somewhere. They are interesting.
