Tickets For Sold-Out Event in London
I would like to purchase tickets for a sold-out movie premiere in London, even if I have to pay more than the face value of the tickets. Who would be selling these? Would any newspapers have classified listings? I don't think an agency like Keith Prowse deals with this type of event, but maybe there are other agencies I don't know about. Does anyone have a suggestion?

It might not always be the case, but in my experience film premieres, at least in New York, are by invitation only.
This one had a limited number available to the public.

Check out www.loot.co.uk - do a search under the Hobbies/Sports and then Tickets section. Its the most popular media for classifieds etc within the UK.
its possible if you are staying in a nice hotel with a first rate concierge that the concierge can help you out. I know when we went to London years ago, our concierge got us 6th row tickets to a sold out, new, Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. If you don't find another way, it might be an option.
