We have arranged for Hotel, flight and bullfight tickets but am having trouble finding info on tickets for the fair itself. Some sites lead me to think they are hard to come by and some refer to season passes. Any insight to getting the correct ticket would be appreciated,

If you do your research, you'll find that the 'casetas’ are open to invited guest only, not the general public. You can enjoy the daily 'Paseo de Caballos' and the fireworks, but gaining entry to one of the casetas will be impossible unless you are invited.

There are some public casetas, I understand, or that is what seemed to be portrayed on TV.

The "Fair" is in the beautifully lighted street.. you see people walking around in their dresses and frocks..and as mentioned the horses and riders, etc... but then people "retire" to their private clubhouses ( casetas) to eat, drink and dance Sevillanas all night.

Here are photos of casetas. that line the streets. You are able to walk in front of them.. and you can stop and look in. Sometimes someone MAY invite you in to take a look inside or let you photograph something if you are lucky, but don't count on it. It is fun just walking along watching everyone in and out and dancing having a great time.

I'm only speaking from my own experience. I was invited with a friend inside a caseta, but it was pouring rain.. but we didn´t stay too long as frankly, unless you're part of the group, not too much to do except watch and after 20 minutes or so.. we'd enjoyed enough.

Yes I understand about the casetas being mostly private, but I am referring to the possible necessity of a ticket to enter the fair "grounds" or "area".

I was there YEARS ago and one just walked under the entrance arch and we were among the streets lined with casetas. MAybe things have changed or there were events canceled because of the rain that were in another section. I hope someone else can help you. My visit was limited due to weather but I was still glad we had gone.

That last link didn't work for me. I had to go via exploreseville dot com.. then i could access the feria de abril section. Not sure why.

You don't need any tickets to simply walk into the fairgrounds and stroll around the fair. However you will not be able to enter any of the casetas with the exception of a couple that are open to the public. I enjoyed visiting during the day and again in the evening as they are totally different experiences
