Adrienne, yes, I asked one question and I have been lucky to get a lot of great information. I am just starting to put our itinerary together for Barcelona. Now that I have all this new information, things will change and maybe more things as we get there. As I have said before, getting first hand information from people that have been there (or maybe live there?)is more helpful that reading travel books.
Thanks again.

I am unearthing this blog to ask another question regarding the Sagrada Familia. We would like to buy tickets for 1-tour 2-towers 3-entrance.
That option is not available to buy online. Which of the three would be the easiet to buy once you are there or do you have other suggestions.
Thanks ahead of time.

I emailed them about that exact question last week...they said to buy the entrance plus tower tickets and when we enter ask to add the guided tour on.

I emailed them a week ago with the same question and I have not heard back from them. Thanks jamikins. I will do as you have been instructed.

jamikins, what was the exact question? Do you need to buy the tickets at Sagrada Familia and then ask for the tour there? Can't wait for your return and trip report. Sorry if I am rushing you through your holiday!

Here is the full email - hopefully makes sense - start from the bottom and work up!

Hope this helps

Thank you

So we can still avoid the line and add the guided tour when we enter with our online entrance ticket?

Good evening,

In order of your request, there is not a combined ticket with the three options, but you can always add the extra ticket for the guided tour directly on the Online Ticket Office at the same time you get inside the Basilica.

Asunto: Entrance + Guided Tour + Tower?

Good afternoon

Is it possible to buy tickets for entrance, the guided tour AND the towers online? I don't see an option for this...

Thanks
Jamie

There is no option on their website to just purchase a ticket for the tours. So, if you purchase the Basilica + Towers and want to go on a tour, I guess we just have to hope that we can connect with a tour guide once we get there. Thanks for passing along your information, Jamie, as I still have not heard back from Sagrada Familia information. Good luck. We will be in Barcelona from April 26 to May 1.

We are heading there next week and want to buy advance tickets. Plenty of times are still available. My question is: if we are going to buy a combo entrance and tower ticket, how close or far apart should we schedule those times? For example would 10am entrance and 10:45 tower be a good choice? After we exit the towers can we still explore more using our same entrance ticket? Do you need to exit by a certain time?

You can stay within the grounds as long as you like. We took a guided tour and arrived before the tour to look around and stayed after the tour. Once you leave the gated area then you need another ticket to re-enter.
