Hi
What sites will I be able to get tickets to an arsenal game in April 2015. I know I can join the club but tickets for all members are not guaranteed. I attended a Fulham game last year but tickets were very easy to get; I don't think it will be the same for arsenal. I read about Thomas cook but can't seem to access the info regarding tickets.

Also, I want to attend the England- Lithuania game in March 2015. When and where can I buy tickets?

I should add that we want consecutive seating for my spouse and I.

I believe T. Cook offers packages as a way of grossing up the total cost to you. Touts (scalpers) and other third party re-sellers seemed difficult because you need your member card to load the ticket onto and get into the Emirates.

When I did this, we joined the club and then used the member re-seller function to buy tickets from a selling member. They go on sale a few weeks before the game, depending on your level of membership, as I recall. Unless you are going to a really popular match, tickets pop up for sale in almost every category.

The club level was a bit sedate but the food and entertainment options are good and you can stay after the match at one of the bars and let the tube clear (which we failed to do).

Very different experience than Fulham (also VERY different from West Ham's Upton Park). Good luck.

Thanks for the response! I sent an email to Arsenal and got a reply in less than a day. 'Seems Iwe may both need to join the club to increase our chances for tickets. Think I'll do just that! Arsenal v Sunderland ain't too big a game for us not to get tix.

Now to figure out how to get tix for the England game. Hmmm

Getting tickets for the England game should be a great deal easier than Arsenal - but why support them when you can go and support Accrington Stanley?

I would have thought that a game against Lithuania should be relatively easy to attend. Click on the "England" tab, then "Buy England Tickets".

They won't be on sale until maybe January /February.

I'm a bit perplexed by some of the comments on here. I used to be in the Arsenal members scheme - there was a waiting list just to join that and it was not that easy to get tickets even once you were in the scheme. Maybe things have changed as I am talking about a few years back, but so many of the premiership games are sell-outs that I just worry we are not all talking about quite the same thing. Happy to be proved wrong though and hope you get to see a game.

PS My top tip was always weekday evening FA Cup replays for a relatively easy ticket for a relatively big game - although April is admittedly a bit late for that - however it may be useful info for others wanting to see Premiership clubs earlier in the season.

I am going to the Manchester United vs Arsenal game in May. I have booked a hotel in London for a four nights. I need advise as to what train to select to get to and from Manchester (Virgin or another one.) Can I just get the train tickets once we are in London and how far the stadium is from the train station. Do they have UBER in Manchester or is their a local train to the stadium? Also, what are we permitted to bring into the stadium. Appreciate any and all advice.

kj39--sorry to post on someone elses thread. There are several things here to be aware of for this game. It's currently listed for Saturday 16th May with the kick off time noted as "TBC"--to be confirmed. All fixtures so far ahead are listed in that fashion. However, you should know that this game WILL be moved for TV showing and could end up on Saturday at either 12:45 or 5:30pm or Sunday at 1:30pm or 4pm or Monday at 8pm. We won't know till February or March when the TV games are released. The eventual time and date will govern whether you can get a train back to London that evening.

The line is the West Coast main line with Virgin trains into Manchester Piccadilly. Book tickets online as early as your travel date is released, as this is cheaper the earlier you book.

Old Trafford is a 15 minute taxi ride from the station or you can catch a tram from Piccadilly to a metro stop nearest to Old Trafford which is Harbour City. You then have a ten minute walk to the ground.

You cannot take glass bottles into the stadium or plastic drink bottles which have a cap on. If you buy a drink in the stadium the cap will be removed. If you have a back pack or bag, it will be searched.

kj39, I assume that you must be going on someone's Season Ticket or have an invite into a Corporate box to be sure of entry? If not, tickets will be as rare as hens teeth for a big game such as this and you will need to be a member to even apply for tickets.

kj39, since the match is in Manchester why book a hotel in London, rather than in Manchester?

It also occurs to me that getting to the ground is a lot easier than getting back into Manchester. Old Trafford holds 75,000+ people and a good number of them will be trying to get back into the city. Taxis get snapped up very quickly round the ground and there is no official rank on a match day, so you're limited to what drives past.

The immediate roads round the stadium are closed once the end of the game approaches and for a good 15/30 minutes afterwards. The metro will be jammed and trams are full before they get to you as the savvy supporters walk back one or two stops to get on.

Walking back into the city will take 30/40 minutes unless you can find a cab.

RM67, my heart just sank. I'm gonna cross my fingers and hope that the title race not in arsenal's favour and the game not sell out. Like i said - not really a fan. My last resort my have to be the other london game on April 18. Or T Cook *sigh*

aflaat, or the other alternative for you and kj39 is to buy a hospitality package from the home club. This usually consists of a pre match meal, programme, comedian, some drinks and great seat.

You need to monitor the website to check when they start to take bookings for the game you want.

I read (but cannot remember where), that a large number of seats at the Emirates are bought by businesses who use them for hospitality. Because of this, there are an estimated 120,000 empty seats at the stadium over the course of a season - bought, paid for, but not used.
