You will receive an email from them within 24 hours or so with a reservation number. You take that number to the ticket office of the museum ,up to a half hour before your entance time ,and present it to them. You then pay for your ticket there. works perfectly!

This is what the website says:<BR><BR>"You must purchase the tickets no later than 30 minutes before your reservation time at the gallery itself.<BR>Failure to purchase the tickets one half hour before your scheduled admittance time may result in the loss of your reservation.<BR>Tickets may also be purchased the days before ( not monday )"<BR><BR>So you get there at least half an hour before your reservation time and pay for and pick up the tickets then.<BR>

After deciding that I wanted to see if there was a different way to get my tickets to the Borghese Gallery, (and not receiving any replies to my post on this in a different thread), I used the "official" web site of the galleries, www.ticketeria.it The extra fee seems lower than the other suggested sites.
Does anyone know what extra services I may have missed out on by not using the other sites, such as Select Italy?
If I missed out on something really important I'm not sure I want to know because once you get your reservations you can't get a refund.

PLMN, Probably the only thing you missed is paying an exorbitant reservation fee to the other agencies. It seems to me that when you book through ticketeria.it, you pay a total of 8.5 Euro, including the reservation fee and you pay this when you pick up the tickets. No advance payment necessary. Good luck
