Thru hikes in Greece

This past summer I walked the El Camino from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago then Finisterre and then to Muxia. Having done that and enjoyed it tremendously, I would like to do another thru hike and someone suggested Greece.

Have any of you done a month long hike in Greece and if so what advice would you give me such as where to go and what to expect?

Thanks a million

There exists officially the European long distance path E4. The leg through Crete is well signmarked. I don't know the continental legs.

The most popular trail in the Eastern Mediterranean is the Lycian Way Fethiye - Antalya.

Check the Walkopedia site, it has great info for a lot of info. A great forum also is http://www.pezoporia.gr/pez/routes.asp, it is in Greek but with Google Translate maybe you will find your way in the maps!
