Through Eternity Tours
Has anyone ever taken a Vatican tour with this company? Or with Context tours? Is one any better than the other?
I'd appreciate any input. Thanks |
Bailey - I'd suggest you do a search on both Context Rome and Through Eternity here on Fodors. There are lots of threads that discuss the merits of those companies as well as other tour companies. We used Through Eternity last summer for an all-day tour, morning Ancient Rome, afternoon Vatican and its museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Hello Bailey:
We toured the Vatican, and the Colloseo/Forum, with Rome Walks. The tour of the Vatican was led by a young guy named Greg (I wish I remembered his last name) and he was nothing short of phenomenal. I highly recommend Rome Walks. Here is a link to Rome Walks for you http://www.romewalks.com/ We also looked into touring with Context Rome, but their schedule did not work out for us. However, our friends toured with Context and were also pleased. Anna Roz |
Through Eternity sounds like a funeral home, although I realize that doesn't necessarily mean that the tours are good or bad.

I did the Vatican tour with Context Rome and was very impressed. Our docent was a professor of theology who hailed from New Zealand. We actually did three Context tours during our stay in Rome and was impressed with all and thought they were well worth it. I would highly recommend Context.

Hi, we did the Vatican tour with Through Eternity and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Our guide was well-informed and funny.
I had read fab reviews of Context Rome, but it didn't really fit into our budget. |
I did a Vatican tour with Through Eternity last March. It was asbolutely fantastic, our guide was Robert - fascinating and very knowledgeable.
It was a truly memorable half day. |
