Threater Tickets in London

Planning to see Les Miserable and the Phantom of the Opera

What has been your experiences in just getting the tickets while you are in London vs. purchasing them in advance. Since these are two long playing shows -- I would not expect them to be sold out.

We plan to be in London last week in July 2011

When I go, I'm open to what I see and always get tickets at Leicester Square, great seats at half price. But I'm a gambler!

Both Phantom and Les Miserables are hit or miss at TKTS; sometimes they're there and sometimes they're not. Can't be more helpful unfortunately.

If you're very attached to the idea of those specific shows, you should buy them before. However, if you're willing to risk the possibility that they will not be at TKTS, feel free to wait. Just depends on your priorities.

You can get tickets at reduced prices at the box offices of the theatres on theday of performance. You could check out TKTS first and if not available go to the theatre.
