Those cute little icons people attach to their messages...

I know this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it on a search. How do you all put those little icons (smiley faces, light bulb, etc.) on your messages? I like them; personalizes the message a bit.

Fun! I always wondered how to add the icons. What a fun way to end a hectic day- I'm going home for a drink! Cheers, all!

I must be icon-challenged, because I can't figure out what some of these are!

-- no clue!

-- rings?

I think I'll just stick to smileys !

How fun! My only glitch is that my computer doesn't have a forward slash on the keyboard, so I can't do the disco hands.
Off work now--on to choir practice (I love these--

they have the names on them if you look at the properties. The "rings" are really handcuffs (which I could tell if you looked closely).

The other one is just a GIF of a generic "icon", it says. It looked like penguins to me, almost.

Cheers!

auntgrapes, if you right click on the little picture of the shamrock you should get a menu with a choice to copy. You can then paste it into an e-mail.

You can use these if you copy them from Fodors and paste them in your e-mail. It's a lot of work, but if have to have one, it can be done.

The emoticons aren't necessarily exclusive to Fodors; if you use Instant Message programs ( such as ICQ, Yahoo, MSN) you are already familiar with some of the same 'smilies'.
