Thomas Cook financial troubles
 
As a heads up. not sure how it affects oepratiosn otuside of UK.

They've come a long way from the first trip from Leicester to Loughborough.
It would be a shame to see that famous name go.
They operate outside the UK as well, but since they specialise mostly in package holidays I doubt it will affect anyone who comes to Fodor's too much.

They operate in Belgium, too. They will fly us to Egypt next week. Flights from Belgium would not be affected.

I wonder if you've missed the point here. Were TC to go bust (which at least for the time being seems unlikely, as they've now been given a larger "overdraft" from their bankers), it would have a massive impact on their customers in all countries. There's no way that "flights from Belguim" would somehow escape the fall-out of the company failing.

That's what they said on the news. In case of problems, passengers will be transfered to the other charter company, TUI.
