This week's poll (romance while on vacation)
This reminded me of one of my all-time favorite Onion articles:<BR><BR>http://www.theonion.com/onion3510/european_romantic.html<BR><BR>The Onion is a satire newspaper; this article is from their regular "Point-Counterpoint" feature, which allows two people to present their sides of a given issue.<BR><BR>The topic is romance during travel.<BR><BR>The first person to present a viewpoint is an American female exchange student who has just returned from her study abroad in Italy. The title of her position is: "European Men are So Much More Romantic than American Men"<BR><BR>The counterpoint is written by the Italian man with whom this woman had her romantic affair while in Italy.<BR><BR>His counterpoint article is: "American Women Studying in Europe are Unbelievably Easy"<BR><BR>If you find that at all amusing, the actual articles are hilarious.<BR><BR>(I hope everyone takes this in the good humor spirit in which it was intended - I think it's pretty funny!)

Thanks for the laugh. It's always good to know who the other Onion readers are out there, too. :o)
Jim - Awaiting each Wednesday's new edition is sometimes the only thing that gets me through Mondays!!
FUNNY and sadly so true. American women are just such pushovers.
That was hysterical. Everyone in my office is laughing over that article. The Onion is great. Thanks.

Alberto, why is this so sad but true. So what if an American woman wants to have a little some on vacation or otherwise. These are adult women and it's 2003. Come out of the dark ages.
men have been traveling to get laid for centuries. it's about time women can do the same thing.
Alberto- Actually, I think just the reverse!!! Italian MEN are easy, since even many of the married ones seem to see nothing wrong with chasing American women for a one-night stand without even thinking twice!! elcome to the modern world!!!<BR><BR>

Funny, and possibly somewhat true, satire. For some, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence (or Atlantic).
