This site is in bad shape. Seems like for the last week or so just constant time outs, connections refused, etc, etc. Reminds me of what it was like a year or so ago, totally unusable. Come on fix it Fodors! <BR>

Maybe the problem is operator head space. I'd refuse to pay the bill until the situation is resolved.

I also had trouble w/ my internet explorer yesterday, particularly. It was not the computer or the connection (which is constant). This site was particularly bad, other urls came up promptly.

If there really is a problem with the Fodors site you can help them by sending objective, useful information. <BR> <BR>Open a DOS window. <BR>Start|Programs|MS-DOS Prompt <BR> <BR>Type tracert www.fodors.com <BR>(space between tracert and www) <BR> <BR>You'll get a display of the route a query to the site is taking, and the length of delays (in milliseconds) along the way. You'll see the max, min and average. <BR> <BR>If there are long delays (over 500 ms or timeouts) near the beginning, the problem is near your end of the connection. In the middle, a problem on the Internet, near the end, Internet or Random House (Fodors). <BR> <BR>If the the end numbers look bad, send a message to Fodors containing the tracert results. <BR> <BR>Just ran a tracert now and Random House and Fodors are a tad slow, but well under 200 ms ... no problems there, or on the 'net from here. <BR> <BR>

Do You really need to go on like that with immature language?????? <BR>Why don't you contact Fodor's directly? <BR>We can't do anything. Obviously most of us are not having the same problems as you. Hope it works out well.
