TDudette:

You might want to tryThe Seven Bridges which we loved. It's on the Regulier Canal, easy walk to the Rijks, the diamond district, the Dam, RembrandtPlein, Ann Frank house.

Nice, tower. Thanks for the link. And, what is your definition of "easy walk"?! My breathing woes are less on a straightaway.

TD...I've got a bad knee, walk with a V.A. cane..had no problem anywhere and Am'dam is quite flat...maybe more so than most any other Eruopean city its size. Enjoy your visit.

central Amsterdam or tourist Amsterdam is very compact - just a few square miles.

The Museum Boat probably docks a few blocks away and you can use that to easily and in a fun way go between key sites like the major museums and Anne Frank House.
