The Reduced Shakespeare is always fun! I have seen both the Complete History of America (Abridged) and the Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged). I am pretty sure I had tears streaming down my face due to laughter at both shows.

Musicals are my favorite -- upbeat, fun, and I love elaborate productions like -- Bombay Dreams. This was a great show in London. You might also consider Chicago. Not sure if Aida is playing in London right now but it's a great musical too. Have you been to Playbill.com? They have a section for London that shows what's playing and I believe the site has reviews as well. Have fun!

My first choice for a musical would certainly be My Fair Lady. There's something about walking though Covent Garden past the Opera House, and then seeing the curtain going up on stage revealing Eliza Doolittle in front of that same opera house in Covent Garden just a block or two away! And it is an outstanding production. You can get half price tickets day of the show at the official half price booth in Leicester Square. For more information on doing that or getting tickets, type in "London Theatre tickets" in the search above and you will get lots of help.
For a real "feel good" musical it is hard to beat Mama Mia if you haven't seen in yet -- and I understand it is getting easier all the time to get last minute tickets at the box office even though it is sold out.
I'm also a big fan of the long running musical, Blood Brothers, partly because it's just so "London" and you seldom would have a chance to see it at home, assuming you are from the States.
There is almost nothing playing on Sunday, and very little on Monday, so Saturday is going to be your best shot.
My favorite website for London Theatre is www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk which lets you enter dates and fine brief descriptions of all shows playing during your time period, and if you look at the left hand column at what looks like ads, you will find a place to click for the official Tkts booth, and see what is currently available at half price.
