Ghost Hunters, Man vs. Food, Pimp my RV, etc. The Travel Channel has forgotten its identity. Is it a cooking channel, a home channel, or what?! One thing it isn't is a TRAVEL channel. I miss wonderful shows done by Samantha Brown and Rick Steves. You felt like you had actually gone on the trip with them. You could dream about different places. Be inspired. But now, when I look at the guide, there will literally be ten episodes in a row of Man vs. Food. It's insane!

This thread reminds me an old joke.

There is a monastic order where only one monk can speak every ten years. So the day arrives and Brother Theodore speaks first and says, "The oatmeal stinks."
