The sweet life in Paris

I was up til 2:00 am reading this amusing book by David Lebovitz.
Besides his sweet recipes, he writes about the French, their customs, habits and sometimes odd ways. I wonder if posters living in Paris agree with his assessment of
the people of the City of Light? At the end is a list of resources including Detou
where I found my violet mustard (maille doesn't sell it).

What is the name of the book?

It sounds like Paris to the Moon, but I can't remember who wrote that. I read it years ago.

You can get a flavour of the book on Amazon where it has the Look inside feature. Seems worth a look probably not in local libraries yet.
