A great website is www.ricksteves.com. You may have seen his program "Travels in Europe." He seems a little dull at first glance but he goes to great places and has great travel advice.
<BR>Try Yahoo
Try www.forumone.com/srch/travel/html. "Srch" may be "search", don't remember for sure but think it's abbreviated. This will give you a BIG list of travel forums, message boards, etc.
Try lonelyplanet.com for its thorntree and eurotrip.com for the bulletin boards. They generally have younger users.
Try the site at www.expedia.com---thatis the Microsoft travel site and their DEPARTURE LOUNGE is <BR>a good place for Europe travel. They also have several chat rooms on specific areas. The best site <BR>for complete coverage of Italy is www.initaly.com . <BR>Very comprehensive and in-depth---and Fabio has a <BR>good Q&A board.
Also, quite useful information on the Newsgroup rec.travel.europe
No, but I know one that is better; www.lonelyplanet.com <BR> <BR>WASA

see TRAVEL DISCUSSION DIRECTORY: <BR> <BR>http://www.prairienet.org/~scruffy/m.htm <BR> <BR>or <BR> <BR>http://www2.famvid.com/xyz/m.htm

Not European, but a good travel forum for New England is www.newengland.com..look for travel forum on the homepage. This is the Yankee Magazine site, interesting and entertaining.
