Hi

There is a database for everything these day it seems :S- I just came across the World Waterfall database and they just came up with the list og the 100 most beautiful waterfalls in the world. The winner is Langfoss in Norway ((h)) Norway has 3 waterfalls on the top ten list by the way. Well, check out the list on http://www.world-waterfalls.com/worl...=ratSce%20DESC

Niagara falls ranks 67!!!!
i thought it would rank much higher than that!!

Niagara is very impressive, but its surroundings are not beautiful.
This was a list of the most beautiful, not the tallest or biggest.
I'd vote for Gullfoss in Iceland or even the Victoria Falls in Scotland, small but beautiful.

Going on the Flight of the Angels over Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe was one of the most spectacular things I have ever done. Amazing stuff.

My friend Mr. Wilde said that Niagara Falls was the American bride's second great disappointment ;-)

Where is Victoria Falls in Scotland ?

MissPrism Jun 22nd, 2006 12:46 AM

They are in Slatterdale near Loch Maree.
Unfortunately we couldn't visit them this year.
The Forestry Commission have closed off the trail because of severe storm damage.
They are having to clear fallen trees.
