The Louvre--under 26
Hopefully someone can answer my question. I was doing some research for my upcoming trip to europe and saw on the louvre website that if you are under 26 yrs old admission is free if you go from 6pm-10pm and it's reduced for everyone else....does anyone know anything about this. Is there any stipulations that I'm not seeing or certain days of the week this applies to? My friend and I are currently 25 and would love to save some extra cash anywhere we can get it!

They just started doing that in the last year or so. The website explains everything, just look at the rules, times, etc at www.louvre.fr.
If they required you to be an EU citizen, I think it would say so. It goes with reduced evening admission, anyway, and that is definitely for everyone.
I don't think I'd say that most museums in France have special rates for those under 26, at least not without you buying some kind of yearly membership card or some other circumstance, not just walking in the door and getting one ticket and being age 25. A lot of those reduced tarifs after age 18 are not just for being age 25, but being a student, I think. However, in Paris the two big ones do have reductions just by age, so that's good news (Orsay and Louvre). Pompidou is doing some experiments similar to the Louvre for those under 26 until June or July, if you are going before then (so is the CLuny, I think). The Paris Museum Pass doesn't have any special rates for those under 26, either.

Yes and no. Musée d'Orsay has a discounted admission for 18-25 year olds. For non EU citizens they insisted on seeing a valid ISIC card (which of course is for students not any 18-25 year old). Kybourbon is right, I want to say the Picasso museum stated their 18-25 discount was for EU citizens only.
PalenQ, their is no special rate for Under 26's with the Paris Museum pass that I know of.
Genabee6, if you still have some sort of affiliation with a University and are planning on attending multiple museums in Paris, I would look into getting an ISIC card before your trip.
