The latest re: VAT refunds?
 

I'll be going to a few EU countries in September, after not visiting since 2017.

Are there any spiffy new apps or websites that make the VAT refund process any more streamlined? I know how to do it the traditional way, but I'm wondering if technology is making it any easier.

it depends where you are going. I know in France you can't get VAT refunds unless you spend quite a large amount of money. I never spend hardly anything so no problem for me, I never have to deal with this.

I believe it is as complicated as it ever was.
You can no longer get VAT refunds or duty free in the UK.
