Gorgeous photos and nifty presentation, Bob. Is there a limit to the number of photos one can do?

Hmmm ! I am not sure, but I can assure you there is a limit to the attention span of viewers.

We would like to travel from the Port of Venice to Lake Como this May. Could anyone give good advice in doing so?
to bobthenavigator...looking in to Menagio now rather than Tremezzo...Thanks...any other help or thoughts would be appreciated.

You need to trein as far as Milan---about 3 hours--and then transfer trains---but to where? You really have 2 choices. To the city of Como where you can catch the ferry that plies the lake to Bellagio, Menaggio , Varenna et al. Or, train to Varenna [same train is to Sondrio] and walk into town from there, or catch the ferry to Bellagio etc. The entire trip can be about 5 hours with connections.
