I loved the radio programme - probably the best medium, and then read the books, and enjoyed them
Like a previous poster, the books went out of my possession in a relationship split :(

I found it hard to get interested in the television version, and I'm of two minds about the film, although I probably will go and see it.

Don't expect a science-fiction yarn - this is something completely different, and...it is English-based.

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were just a great comedy team!

I think MSNBC gave it four out of five stars. I think you can read the review on this link. I think I want to go see it now. http://movies.msn.com/movies/filmreviews?GT1=6352

We just got home from seeing it. Very enjoyable but as often with films they have to compress things that deserve more time; satire or irony need time to sink in. Still, not a bad adaptation and fun even for those who haven't read the book. Alan Rickman is a wonderful Marvin.

Rent the original Bedazzled for a taste of Peter Cooke and Dudley Moore at their finest. I still love that movie -- so many lovely little throwaway bits.

Saw the movie tonight. Thought it was excellent. Like Adams' books, you've got to watch closely to catch all the nuances. Well Done!
