Does anyone know how long it will take to get from The Hague to the Schiopel Airport?

It takes about 1.5 hours if memory serves. It may take a little longer or a little less. It's been about 5 years since I've made that trip via train.

It will be 30 minutes at the most by train.

It usually takes between 45 minutes to an hour by bus to get there on the expressway from the airport.

Frequent train from The Hague to Schiopel takes 30 minutes, please note that half of the trains leave from Den Haag HS Station, half from Centraal Station.

Thanks for all the replies - I forgot to mention we would be driving and dropping the car off at the airport - would it then be about the same amount of time as the bus?

Count at least 1 hour then. Traffic can be bad (depending what hour of the day), you have to return the car or park it, go the terminal etc.

Can you return your car a day early in The Hague? Then take the train to save trouble on your flight day, and save a day of car rental expense.

thanks that's a great suggestion - I found a drop off right in The Hague for the car on Saturday so we can take the train to the airport on Sunday and not be pressed for time.
