Yes, we were HUGE fans of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman!

Gardyloo, LOL. I love Trini and Susannah. They are so much nicer than their American counterparts. I want them to come and give me a make over and a new wardrobe. Right about now I would love someone to make me throw away all those clothes that I don't wear, but I seem to need hanging in my closet.

I never thought Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman was funny, except for Dody Goodman. She always reminded me of my Aunt Beryl, especially her floozy hairstyle.

I ADORE Trinny and Sus. I used to watch Stacy and Wayne, but now hate What Not To Wear U.S. with Clinton. I thought Wayne was hysterical with his eye-rolling and deadpan facial expressions. Clinton is a wog with Lupus eyes, and tuck in that shirt, Mary!

Thin, I could never figure out why anyone would take fashion advice from someone who dressed like Wayne, not to mention his personal grooming (or lack thereof).

From http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0040014/ - - the biographical listing of comedian John Astin (Gomez, of the Addams Family)...

Number 68 under the heading "Notable TV Guest Appearances"

"Love, American Style" (1969) playing "Rex Bickers" in episode: "Love and the Newscasters" (episode # 3.22b) 25 February 1972

OK, Rex, You seem to know your way about computers. I'm about ready to thrash mine as I have no help, paid over, 300 dollars for help from a tech, I can't access urls
I can't afford anymore into this PC if I want my yearly France trip and my Dog's meds. I have now Win 200 IBM and since he put in theMcFe security suite, EVERYTHING went downhill(unaccessible)

Mimi - - I do not understand - - is there a question here? And does it relate to my posting? You cannot access http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0040014 - - is that what you mean?

Fodors does not allow you to simply click on a URL unless it is at fodors.com - - you have to type it into your browser "window" (the blank line at the top of your browser that says "Addressquot; at rhe far left edge of the screen (upper lefthand corner).

Mimi, could the tech have put in some sort of Virus protection that is preventing your being able to open cards etc? McAfee and Norton, that sort of thing?
Email me, we will figure it out !

He put in McFee internet security suite. Thanks for being a voice in the wilderness, whether you can help or not.

You are very welcome Mimi, especially since I am so computer challenged! But the same sort of thing happened to us once, and it was the security program that did it.

Though you asked that this thread be returned to Tom, I really do not understand how the McAfee installation could have resulted in your ability to reach (certain? all?) URL's. Sorry that I don't understand the symptom, nor the pathophysiology of what is the problem...

By the way, I was very pleased to have made it to "one degree of separation" from you by getting to know David (indytravels) at our GTG, as he had met you in Boston...

I wonder how many of "us" are within six dgrees of separation from the others through GTG's?

On the subject of olde time radio, do you have sons, Rex, or do you have brothers? Do any of them/you have periodic fights? Are they/you therefore the Battling Bickers Sons?
