Û The Euro
Just curious, does everyone see the Euro sign? ÛÛÛ
??? |
I don't think so. Where the heck is that post which tell how to do this?
|
&euro
|
i am on a mac
|
€
|
ok its & euro ; all with no spaces
I feel like I am talking to myself. |
You mean € Shoot, I'd just as soon type
30euro as 30€ |
Û cut and paste?
|
&euro
vs. € Just tried it. Cut & paste works; the &euro does not (on microsoft). |
If you are using Microsoft, try holding down the Alt key while typing 0128. If that doesn't work, find Character Map (in XP it is in All Programs>Accessories>System Tools) and it will tell you which keystrokes to use in the various fonts on your computer. You will also find lots of other symbols and foreign letters that aren't on your keyboard you can use with Character Map.
Incidentally, does anyone know the font we are using for these replies? |
Surfergirl, you need to put a colon after euro, like this: €
Richardab, on a Mac :-) you can also just type opt+shift+2 (opt+3 for pound sterling sign) |
Like this? ? ? I don't think that works!!
|
Works for me: € £
|
€ Well, I'll be! Opt+shift+2 works. May be font sensitive though. I'm on a Mac in Geneva (the font, unfortunately, not the city). Thanks, Sue.
|
Oops, surfergirl, I should have said semicolon.
€ My pleasure, Betsy! Love my Mac! |
Oops again!
