anyone notice that Friday around 520-530 - it gets REALLY quiet on this board? is everyone here on the East Coast? closing up their laptops for the day???<BR><BR>haha

In my profession, all the east coast members only work a half-day on the Fridays between Memorial Day & Labor Day, and are generally out of their offices by 1pm.

Thyra, <BR>I'm a professional book buyer, and we're always hiring, but aren't headquartered in California, so you'd have to move!<BR><BR>I also edit and write and do some translating.<BR><BR>When I try to purchase books on summer Friday afternoons, most of the east coast publishing houses have closed. They'll revert to their "old" schedules after Labor Day.<BR><BR>BC
