Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with the Clarence Hotel in Dublin? Is it a good choice? I am planning to be there next week!!

It is owned by U2, in a good location, and expensive.

It fronts the River Liffey and a major road through Dublin, and behind it is Temple Bar which tends to be loud at night. Be prepared if you like it quiet.

I stayed there a couple of years ago - I second the comments regarding the noise, but overall my memory of it was good. Good location, great if you like the night life. Have fun!
