The Bonne Femme Cookbook
This is a great cookbook that I got for Christmas. It is subtitled "Simple, Splendid Food that French Women Cook Every Day". Everything I have made so far has been wonderful. With most of the recipes, there is a little personal note. It is fun to peruse this book, also!

...and for those of us unlikely to buy this or any other cookbook (too addicted to internet) there are lots of recipes on the website. I like the 'real' french salad dressing!

pdx, thanks for providing the link to the website. I also do like following it.
St. Cirq, there is a link to watch the author make Pork Chops with Mustard Sauce and Cornichons on WGN-TV.
I made her Flank Steak with Warm Sherry Vinegar and Garlic Vinaigrette last night. I had to take DH's plate away before he licked it clean!! Lots and lots of recipes are gluten free, which is perfect for our needs.
