"The Bachelor in Paris" Will you be watching?

"The Bachelor in Paris" starts Monday night. Don't like the show...love Paris. Will anyone else be watching for the scenery? I'm thinking of taping it so I can fast forward through the drivel.

If it's anything like The Real World in Paris, forget it. I think a Paris travelogue DVD would be better.

Gomiki,

You'll be fast forwarding through the entire thing. LOL

No way. I'd rather watch my Paris vacation videos again.

I have never watched this show but I went to high school with one of the contestants. Her name is Cortney Bailey and she is listed as the law clerk on the ABC show info webpage. She was a couple years older than me but we were on the same cheerleading squad. Considering that my high school (small, private) had only approximately 200 hundred people, it seems a small world indeed to find a fellow grad on television!

I think I will watch it, drivel or not.
Anything with Paris scenery is fun!

The Bachelor is sooo much fun to watch with gal pals!! I am definitely going to be watching for: 1) Romantic Paris, 2) delicious catfights, 3)make fun of everybody.

P.S. Strongly recommend TiVo.

NOOOOOOO

I'll be watching. You know the interactions between the Parisians and the women contestants are going to be good for laughs.

Thanks for the comments everyone! SeaUrchin, now I'm really looking forward to it. TexasAggie, really small world. Viajero2, "delicious catfights" LOL.

Based on the "Bachelorette New York" version that was on last year, I imagine they will use some of the more famous sites in Paris for different dates, etc. For example, the guys had to race to the Empire State Building in one episode, and several of the dates involved NYC landmarks and experiences.

Shots of Paris at night were absolutely beautiful. I wonder where is the chateau they showed he is staying at. Very nice place.

TexasAggie Jan 10th, 2006 02:08 PM

I too wonder where the beautiful "house" is located, amazing! Too bad my friend did not make the cut.

NOOOOOOOOOOO, rather watch paint dry.

Beatle Jan 10th, 2006 04:54 PM

Yes, I will be watching for the scenery, and the volume will be OFF!

John Jan 10th, 2006 05:49 PM

Can't believe they even put that drivel on!!!!!

moldyhotelsaregross Jan 10th, 2006 06:02 PM

I can't believe I admit to watching that crap. I laughed everytime he said "Welcome to MY chateau." HA.

So, does anyone want to admit to having rotting eggs around here? LOL

pjsparlor Jan 10th, 2006 06:07 PM

I thought the Canadian who got the first rose, was hard to stomach with all her awesome's, wicked and holy sh**, not much in conversation!

Well I want to see the Paris scenery!

AuntAnnie Jan 10th, 2006 07:10 PM

Guilty Pleasure!!

gomiki Jan 10th, 2006 07:18 PM

Watched it...was howling at the poor girl who had to "reproduce"...what was she thinking?? Loved the shots of the Eiffel at night. I guess I will watch anything if I can see Paris :)
